Felicitaciones Sergio!
It was great to see Sergio Garcia finally shed the moniker of 'best player never to win a major' with a fantastic duel with Justin Rose at this year's US Masters. After 73 previous majors and having suffered the various ups and downs he finally 'bagged a big one'. Sergio showed some great spirit, grit and determination coupled with some beautiful iron play and a wonderful performance with the flat stick, I'm sure we will all agree that he is a well-deserved winner of the Green Jacket.
Let's take a look at Sergio's Master winning clubs:
- Driver: TaylorMade 2017 M2 9.5°, Kuro Kage Silver Dual Core TiNi 80TX shaft.
- 3 wood: TaylorMade 2017 M1 15°, Kuro Kage Silver TiNi 80XTS shaft.
- 5 wood: TaylorMade 2017 M1 19°, Kuro Kage Silver TiNi 80XTS shaft.

Masters Sweep
Congratulations to Jeff Wiggins, Dave Ryder and Geoff Short. They're the lucky winners of the sweep for this year's Masters, your prizes are in the pro shop.
Andy's Charity Day
For those who have noticed, this Saturday's competition is Andy's charity day to help raise money for him to go once again to represent Great Britain in the Aikido World Championships, this year being held in Akita, Japan.
As most of you know who have spoken to Andrew about his hobby, The Great Britain team is all 'self-funded' as Aikido is not an Olympic sport regardless of their past successes, those who remember two years ago, Andrew was part of a very strong team which went out to Australia and won six out of a possible nine gold medals of which Andrew was one of them.
There will be several opportunities to win on Saturday from the stableford itself, nearest the pin's, hit the green and double your money on the 18th and a raffle. For those who are unable to make it on Saturday, raffle tickets can be purchased from the pro shop.
Captains' Away Trip
Please could everyone who has put their name down for the Captain's away trip, please pay their remainder in the pro shop.

Please Repair Your Pitch Marks
Please ensure that we are staying on top of repairing pitch marks. It only takes a few seconds, but makes a world of difference. If you're unsure of how to repair a pitch mark properly, please speak to Ady, Andy or a member of the greens staff.
Junior Lessons
Great work by the juniors this week, lots of positives from our lessons and it has been great to see them out playing, practising and having fun during the holidays. Hopefully the better weather is here to stay which means we can work on our games outside.
