Thought of the Week

What's the most important thing for your Sat Nav or GPS? Up to date software? Power? Destination?

All are good points but they are rendered useless if you don't have your current location. This is the same with your golf, if you don't know where your game is now how do you expect to improve.

Looking at your statistics for the year will give you a good indication on what to work on over the winter if you keep them. If not, why not book in for a Game Assessment.

Click here to book for an assessment or contact the Pro Shop for more information.

Junior news

Junior Academy

Junior sessions for 2017 are back this Saturday.

Trying to build on the success of 2016 and start to build towards having a junior section here at Leeds Golf Club.

Ages 5 - 17 are welcome but spaces are limited so please contact Andy for more information and to book.

Course news

Frost issues

Following on from last week's information with regards frost and why temporary greens are in use.

Click here to view a video from the USGA which may 'shed some light' on the matter.

Course Maintenance

Work has begun on clearing various areas of the course of dead, dying and unnecessary trees and bushes.

This is being done for several reasons which include allowing more light and air to get to the vital areas of the course which helps the grass grow stronger also allows better visibility of certain areas of the course.
