Hello golfers,
Greens News
Autumn is here, the leaves are changing colour and are slowly falling. Although this can look pretty it means that Neil and his team are spending their efforts on clearing as much as possible but does feel like a never-ending job, please be patient whilst this is going on.
The greens have recently been sprayed again, although not poisonous to us, please ensure that you wash your hands after the round and for those who do, please do not lick your balls.
Juniors are back this Sunday. Please make sure that you are dressed appropriately for the weather, don't worry if it's really bad though, there is still the rules quiz's to do.

Thought of the Week
This time of year sees the greens a little softer and slower. Chipping around the greens can be a little more unpredictable. Now is a good time to give the ball a little more 'air time'. Take a club with a little more loft and commit to the shot. The ball should land nice and soft next to the hole for an easy tap in.
For more information, please contact Ady or Andy.

Give a Garmin Golf’s a hard enough game at the best of times, but knowing how far to hit the ball makes it that much easier. Whether you want the yardage to the front, middle or back, or you wish to know the distance to the corner of the dogleg from the tee, Garmin’s Approach S2 GPS watch will give you all of this and more.
