Hello golfers,
What fantastic play by Henrik Stenson and Phil Mickelson at this year's Open Championship. The winners of the Sweep are:
1st - Pete Bottomley
2nd - Steve Adkins
3rd - Tony Rourke
Please collect your prizes from the shop.
The Sweep is also out for the final major of the year, The USPGA Championship. Don't forget there is over £100.00 worth of prizes to be won and there is the grand prize worth over £500.00 still up for grabs.
The new greens mower is enabling us to brush and cut the greens better now giving us a better putting surface.
Bunkers have been recently rotivated after the wet weather so the sand should be a little fluffier.
Please keep adhering to the roped off areas and keep up the good work repairing pitch marks, replacing divots and using the seed mix on the par 3's. Your help is invaluable to us.

Thought of the Week
Always make sure that you are properly fuelled.
A round of golf takes its toll on the body and if you don't refuel it properly, good scores are hard to come by. When its warm a combination of energy drinks and water are important. Make sure you have a drink before your thirsty, this helps keep concentration and the muscles working properly. Eating fruit, nuts and grains will also help the body stay fuelled too. For more information, please speak to Ady or Andy.
