Thought of the week

Strike It Better To Play It Better

When hitting iron shots, pitch shots and chip shots, striking the ball correctly is the key to getting the ball to do what you intend. One of the things that I constantly check myself and for the players that I teach is their ball position. If the ball is in the correct place in your stance, then it gives the club the best chance to do what it was designed to do.

As an example, the ball should be positioned off the front heel for the driver and gradually move further back in the stance as the clubs get shorter.

For more information, please speak to Ady or Andy.

Video of the week

Just to prove that the unmentionables can strike anyone… this happened to poor Jon Rahm, playing in his first ever event as a professional. As if that wasn't bad enough, Shot Tracker technology captured it all!

It can happen to any of us…
