Take Care on the Course
Not wanting to curse it but it appears that the better weather is finally here. With it being quite hot recently, please take care when out on the course.
Ensure that you have sun cream on. 4 hours out in sun is not good for unprotected skin.
Wear a hat, this will keep the direct sun off your head.
Invest in a good pair of sunglasses, we neglect our eyes too much and we need them.
Water! You should drink 0.033ml of water per Kilogram of bodyweight per day, this will increase at the temperature increases. For example, the average 13 ½ Stone person should be drinking around 3 litres of water.
Light clothing.

Please take notice of areas of the golf course that are roped off or have barriers up, these are here to protect the course against use or over-use.
The new grassed tee on the 15th hole has been used, please note that the mat is still to be used until it is ready.
Neil and his team are continuing to work tirelessly to provide everyone with a fantastic golf course, this is tough for them at the minute as a replacement greenkeeper has yet to be found, please be patient.

The golf course is getting firmer and shots are not stopping as quickly now. Think about this when playing your shots. Some tee shots may run a little more which may bring hazards into play.
Shots into the green may benefit from being played in lower and landing shorter to run them up to the flag.
