The new PING G is on its way with the demo/fitting irons arriving. The new technology in the irons provides a consistent and hotter ball speed off the face, resulting in more height, longer carry and more distance. Please speak to the Pro Shop for more information and a test.
With the ability to get out on the golf course more regularly looming, don't forget the importance of a proper warm up. Half an hour hitting a few short irons, mid irons, woods and drivers has been difficult in previous years, however, now with the Golf Cave, this is a possibility.
The Range feature is only £10.00 for 30 mins or £18.00 for the hour. Make sure you are ready play and avoid injury.

Please check the daily course information with regards the course/ holes being open. With the recent poor weather, to save inconvenience, it would be advisable to call ahead.

Rickie Fowler produced two moments of magic to hold off late charges from Thomas Pieters, Rory McIlroy and Henrik Stenson to win his second European Tour title at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship.
The World Number Six held a three-shot lead at the turn but while he made seven straight pars on the back nine, McIlroy came home in 31 with an eagle at the last and Stenson came back in 32 to sit one shot behind the leader in the clubhouse.
Fowler was not to be outdone, however, and he chipped in on the 17th to open up a two-shot lead, with a par at the last enough to keep him at 16 under and hand him a one-shot victory over Pieters, who birdied the final hole.
The 27 year old had earlier holed from a bunker for an eagle on the eighth immediately after a double bogey on the seventh cut his advantage to one on a dramatic final day at Abu Dhabi Golf Club.

Winter tees and winter greens can be a great bonus and brilliant for your confidence. With the shortened course it gives you the chance to hit some shorter irons into the greens which should mean getting closer to the flags. The winter greens have the larger holes which means that you can be a bit more aggressive with putts and chips, holing out more and having more fun. It also encourages you to keep trying to shoot as low as possible, this is much easier to do over the winter so you can get used to being 4,5,6 or 7 under par. Getting comfortable with this could well be the key to shooting lower during the summer. For more information on the mental side of golf, please speak to certified Mind Factor© coach, Andrew Rigby.
