The new PING G is on its way with the demo/fitting irons arriving. The new technology in the irons provides a consistent and hotter ball speed off the face, resulting in more height, longer carry and more distance. Please speak to the Pro Shop for more information and a test.
Due to the recent poor weather, the course has been closed and therefore no competitions.
The Winter League is hotting up with a number of improved scores in round 2. There's only a few days left to play your second round so please book in soon for your round at Congressional Golf Club.
Please click here to contact the Pro shop to book.
Then after the rain... Came the snow
Sunday saw the course covered in the cold white powder, although it does look nice, it does make playing golf prove difficult.
Once melted and the cold frosty mornings are here we are looking to open the course with temporary greens.
Please check the daily course information with regards the course/ holes being open. With the recent poor weather, to save inconvenience, it would be advisable to call ahead.

Getting creative
Winter golf can be a struggle, it may be very tempting to fill the bag with everything you can think of and make your way out there with it on the trolley. As we all appreciate, soft, wet golf courses and trollies are not the best of friends so why not venture out there with a lightweight bag and half a set or less? Maybe leave out the driver and hit your fairway woods or even hybrid clubs. Have a bit of fun hitting from different places on the course and learning some new shots along the way. You never know, maybe hitting the driver off one of the tees that you've always done might not be the best choice……?
